This week Adaptive Computing announced a strategic partnership with In-Q-Tel (IQT) to create a cloud operating system by integrating Moab Cloud Suite and an open source private cloud platform. By integrating best-of-breed components, Adaptive will enable broader applicability of private clouds within the Intelligence Community as well as in the commercial market.

According to Clyde, Moab’s policy-based decision engine enhances open source cloud, making it more efficient and capable as a cloud operating system.
